Core Architecture and System Design


This 9.3-inch portrait TFT display module adopts a 600×RGB(H) × 1600(V) full-resolution pixel array, driven by the SC7705 dedicated industrial display driver IC. It integrates TFT panel, driving IC, FPC flexible board and white LED backlight into a monolithic compact stack, eliminating redundant structure layers and reducing structural tolerance accumulation effectively.


The display follows a transmissive normally black active matrix driving architecture, with RGB vertical stripe pixel arrangement delivering 0.13824mm equal pixel pitch across both horizontal and vertical directions, and supports 16.7M full color gamut rendering via software configuration. The 4-lane MIPI high-speed differential signal interface achieves near-zero attenuation high bandwidth signal transmission, while the all-direction (ALL O'CLOCK) viewing design ensures zero color deviation, no brightness shift when viewed from any tilted angle.


The overall outline dimension of the bare LCM module is 89.00mm wide, 231.00mm high and 4.60mm thick, with critical dimensional tolerance strictly controlled within ±0.20mm. Its physical active display (A.A) area measures 82.94mm wide × 221.18mm high, the official recommended touch panel window design shall extend 0.3mm to 0.5mm unilaterally beyond the active display area, to fully eliminate blind spots of edge touch channels.


Full Operating Condition Boundary Calibration


The module has passed full environmental stress screening. The continuous power-on operating temperature range of the LCM body covers -30°C to +85°C, the non-powered long-term storage temperature tolerance range also extends to -30°C to +85°C, and the maximum environmental humidity limit reaches 90%RH non-condensing. With optional extra touch panel, the full machine maintains the same full wide-temperature and full humidity operating stability, perfectly adapting to the extreme environment deployment requirements of outdoor field work in high temperature desert regions and extremely cold polar regions.


Electrical Performance and Backlight Characteristics


The power supply voltage range for the built-in DC/DC driving circuit covers 2.6V to 3.6V, with the typical operating voltage set to 3.3V. The backlight system uses edge-lit optical structure with 18 embedded high-brightness white LEDs, the forward conduction voltage range of LED is 18V to 21V, typical forward working current is 150mA, maximum allowable forward current reaches 210mA.


The typical brightness of the module with LCD and optional touch panel reaches 700cd/m², peak maximum brightness hits 850cd/m², the minimum backlight brightness uniformity is no less than 70%, which meets basic outdoor ambient light readable requirements. The nominal LED lifespan is defined as the continuous runtime when the overall module brightness drops to 50% of the initial value under the operating condition of IL=50mA per LED, reaching 20,000 hours in total, and the lifespan will decrease non-linearly if the long-term operating current of a single LED exceeds 75mA.


FPC Pin Full Definition


The 40-pin gold-plated FPC of this module follows industrial standard impedance matching design, with all signal functions strictly defined as follows:

  1. Pins 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 17, 27, 30, 32, 33, 37 are independent power ground terminals, arranged between high-speed differential signal pairs to suppress inter-channel crosstalk
  2. Pins 2, 3, 5, 6, 11, 12, 14, 15 are four groups of 4-lane MIPI high-speed differential data signal pair (D0P/D0N, D1P/D1N, D2P/D2N, D3P/D3N)
  3. Pins 8, 9 are the MIPI high-speed differential clock signal pair (CLKP/CLKN)
  4. Pin 24 is the hardware global reset (RESET) pin, pulling this pin to low level will complete the full initialization of the display LSI

Reliability Validation Criterion System


All test items pass full industrial-grade reliability verification, the uniform qualification standard requires the module function remains completely normal after all tests. Missing pixel segments, driving short circuit, blurry display, no output, abnormal display color deviation and liquid crystal leakage failures are strictly forbidden. No structural defects such as low-temperature bubbles inside the liquid crystal layer, edge sealant peeling off and frame rainbow pattern are allowed either.
The full six test items strictly follow industrial display test specifications:

  1. High temperature storage test: the whole machine is kept static for 96 consecutive hours in constant temperature environment of +85°C
  2. Low temperature storage test: the whole machine is kept static for 96 consecutive hours in constant temperature environment of -30°C
  3. High temperature power-on operation test: the whole machine continuously lights up and runs at full frame for 96 hours under +85°C constant temperature
  4. Low temperature power-on operation test: the whole machine continuously lights up and runs at full frame for 96 hours under -30°C constant temperature
  5. High temperature high humidity steady-state storage test: the whole machine is kept static for 96 consecutive hours in non-condensing environment of 60°C × 90%RH
  6. Thermal and cold shock test: under non-powered static state, the whole machine completes 10 times cycle switching between -30°C (30 minutes dwell) and +85°C (30 minutes dwell)
